Payment Terms
Payment is due on the day of service with multiple payment options available: Cash, Check (payable to Achaina Inc.), PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, & Credit Card (minimum $5 fee for electronic payment methods).
Services outside the scope of a normal trim will be charged accordingly, including laminitis and other major rehab work and extended trim times for behavior or pain issues.
There will be a $30 fee for returned (bounced) checks.
There will be a travel fee assessed for any appointments that are not on a standard route.

Appointment Cancellation Policy
Once established, I am happy to trim without the owner present when equids are well behaved and easily caught or left in a stall. I will give you a full update on the trim.
You may cancel an appointment without penalty with a minimum of 48 hours advanced notice. I may be able to adjust an appointment time if the day's schedule allows.
Please be aware I may be booked weeks out for rescheduling. A travel fee will be assessed if I need to make a special trip off route.
Short notice non-emergency cancellations are billed at full price as you have booked my time. I could have been working on other animals, and it leaves me stuck between appointments losing valuable time.
If you have more than one animal and only one can't be trimmed, please provide notice so I can plan accordingly.
The same "cancellation" policy applies to animals that cannot be trimmed due to behavior issues. I am willing to work with animals if I am not at risk of injury. Your veterinarian can provide a sedative or pain medication if training has been unsuccessful.

Return Policy
Manufacturer's warranty and return policy applies on new hoof boot purchases.
Any other returns that are accepted will be for merchandise credit only and may incur a restocking fee.
