Business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
I am out working in the field, sometimes literally! At times it may take a few days for me to respond to new inquiries that are not urgent, usually at night or on the weekend.

Payment Terms:
Payment is due on the day of the trim with multiple payment options available: Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, & Credit Card (minimum $5 fee for electronic payment methods).
Flat rate trim price for a standard horse trim is $80, which is the minimum billing. Well behaved littles will be less, price depending on the hooves and the trim. Large hooves that take longer than a standard trim will be more.
Scheduled routes outside of a 30 minute radius will incur a small travel fee, usually spread out to $5 per trim for the day.
Emergency calls will incur a travel fee.
Services outside the scope of a normal trim will be charged accordingly, including laminitis and other rehab work, overgrowth, extended trim times for behavior or pain issues, etc. My time is billable.
Please make sure Cutie Pie can be captured before I get there!
There will be a $30 fee for returned (bounced) checks.
I reserve the right to refuse future service based on nonpayment, dangerous behavior, or inadequate care.
Appointment Cancellation Policy:
Once established, I am happy to trim without the owner present when
equids are well behaved and easily caught or left in a stall. I will give you a full update on the trim.
You may cancel an appointment without penalty with a minimum of 48 hours advanced notice. I may be able to adjust an appointment time if the day's schedule allows.
Please be aware I may be booked weeks out for rescheduling, which is not good for hooves. A travel fee will be assessed if I make a special trip off route.
Short notice non-emergency cancellations are billed at full price as you have booked my time.
I could have been working on other animals and earning my living, it limits my availability for other clients, and it leaves me stuck between appointments losing valuable time.
"Emergency cancellations" are health threatening or other major events beyond your control that prevent you from providing adequate cancellation notice, or a sudden injury or health issue that prevents the equid from being trimmed. If you have multiple animals and just one can't be trimmed, please provide notice.
The same "cancellation" policy applies to equids that cannot be trimmed due to behavior issues. I am willing to work with animals if I am not at risk of injury. Your veterinarian can provide a sedative or pain medication if training has been unsuccessful.
I am fair, caring, skilled, and reliable. I have a busy practice with standing appointment routes over a wide travel range. Unfortunately that doesn't leave room for a lot of unexpected rescheduling flexibility. Your horses' trims are a priority for me and I expect them to be a priority for you as well.
Appointments and routes are recurring - same day of the week, same time frame, on a set four or five week trim cycle. I may occasionally request to adjust appointments on a route and will give plenty of notice.
For significant snow storms, I usually reschedule the entire day to a weekend day with the same time slots.
If we are a good match, I look forward to working with you and your pet(s) to provide the best care possible.
